The iTero 3D scanner takes digital impressions of your smile that are used to create your treatment plan and custom aligners at our Montréal practice.
iTero is a specialized digital scanner that takes highly accurate, 3D impressions of your mouth. It allows your orthodontist to adjust your treatment in real time, store and send data digitally, and show you how your results will look by the end of treatment.
Using the iTero scanner, we take a complete 3D scan of your mouth which is then projected on a screen so you can see what your smile looks before your treatment begins.
Next we use iTero Smile Simulation Technology to show you a 3D image of what you can expect your smile to look like by the end of your treatment.
These scans are also used to create your custom aligners.
